montreal vs victoria
lately I’ve been thinking about how cities develop over time:
your experience of a city is the direct result of people who’ve lived there before.
i.e. the history of people's behavior influence what type of food exists, how late venues stay open, etc.
therefore, to change the culture, there needs to be a history of a lot of people doing something.
E.g. i got to experience great music and going out in montreal because people have been doing that there for a long time - they affected my experience.
i started playing in a band :)
we're playing a gig in July
i bought this TRMNL device
just a passive e-ink display
it shows the weather and updates every hour
this video inspired me to buy it
