September is one of those months that seems to fly by.
I haven’t gotten the chance to write about things. I’ve been doing more consuming than creating lately I think.
In the creation column this month:
blog rebuild
I rebuilt my blog. For anyone curious, you can see the process of the rebuild here. I also posted a long tweet thread about an issue I was having. Not sure why I made a burner account for that.
The rebuild is live at next.kahvipatel.com. It should look and work identically to the old blog. But maybe slightly faster?
law school application
I’ve been working on my personal statement. It’s good because it’s forcing me to contend with why I actually want to go to law school.
Do I want to become a lawyer? No.
Do I want to change the system? Not really.
Am I interested in it? Yes.
Do I want to learn more about the law? Yes.
I’m trying to be honest with myself about it. It’s kind of devolved into me justifying why it’s interesting to me, which is a mystery. Why why why why why.
the rest
Here’s a list of things I did this month:
helped my sister move in vancouver
ripped my pinkie open
why do I like climbing?
did a lot of biking
started swing dancing lessons w ashley
did some knitting
does anyone recognize this stitch?
saw that movie bottoms (it was great)
started the fall ultimate season
did a beerfest bouncy castle race and lost
witnessed this sunset after a storm
Aaaand that’s all I have this month. See you in November!
